PEONIES

Peonies offer gorgeous long lasting blooms in May that we can not imagine being without. Their beautiful foliage serves as a backdrop to later blooming flowers. Herbaceous peonies are extremely hardy and once planted in the fall can remain for years in your garden. Many peonies are very good for enjoying indoors as long lasting cut flowers. Herbaceous hybrid peonies are noted for their brilliance in color, early bloom time and excellent foliage. Several of our selections have won American Peony Society Gold Medals (GM). Peonies are shipped late September and October. Hardy zones 2-8, with some exceptions as peonies like cool winters.

CUT FLOWERS available at the garden during bloom season which usually runs April 15 to June 1 depending on the weather. Cut peony blooms are $2.50 per stem. Telephone for availability.
