AQUA WHISPERS (Miller 88) White stands, lavender at base; lavender falls veined violet-blue. The garden illusion is that of a lavender pink. The aqua for which it was named shows lightly on the inside of the standards. $8.00

I. typhifolia A Siberian iris species from China. Medium blue-violet flowers. Very early blooming starting here around May 1 which is about three weeks before our other siberians. Long blooming. Blooms for almost a month. Interesting foliage that has a spiral to the foliage and is narrower than other siberian foliage. We have found that the foliage, unlike other siberian foliage, keeps elongating after bloom. By the end of the season the foliage takes on floppy habit. $8.00
