ORDERING: Minimum order is $20.00 in plants plus shipping.
Full
payment with order by
check, money order or credit card please.
Credit cards are not
charged until we ship your
order. If your credit card will expire before the proper time
to ship your order, your credit card will then be charged when your order is placed.
There
is a $2.00 handling charge on Will-Call orders.
Orders are filled
in the order in which they
are received. The order line starts in November of the previous year so there is a backlog of orders when
the digging starts. Order early to make sure you
get what you want.
All orders are
subject to crop availability.
ORDER CUT OFF DATES: Last date to order bearded iris is October 8, 2010,
beardless
iris/daylilies is October 15, 2010 and cyclamen/hosta/peonies is
October 22, 2010. We have been known to be flexible on these dates but only if you
telephone us for special
arrangements.
SHIPPING DATES: All shipping dates are
weather dependant. Just
because you garden in
paradise does not mean that we do.
When it is 95 degrees and over outside, we don't seem to move as fast. We also do not dig in
the rain.
Daylilies are shipped
April through October.
Hosta and most other perennials are shipped April through
October.
Bearded Iris are usually shipped starting in July.
Beardless Iris are shipped starting in late August or early September depending on what the weather is doing here
at the garden.
Peonies are shipped very late September
and October.
Orders are filled
and shipped in the
order they are received
unless you specify a later shipping date. We will get to your order just as soon as we can.
Remember there are more of you than there are of us.
Also please let us know
if you will be out of town -
shipping dates to avoid. We do not want to send our children if you are not there to receive
them.
- ADDING TO YOUR ORDER & MISCELLANEOUS: Feel free to add to your order at
any time PRIOR
to its shipment. You only need to add the per plant shipping as
the basic
shipping fee is already paid. Return check fee is $30.00. We reserve the right
to correct errors in addition
or errors made in calculating the shipping fee.
- PLANT QUALITY/GUARANTEE: All plants are guaranteed true to
name and healthy, the
garden is state inspected. If there is
anything about your order
that you are
unhappy about, let us know within 5 days of receipt of your order
so that we
can
correct it immediately. We want our customers to be happy. We
cannot be
responsible for your growing conditions,
culture or climate in your
garden. In
no case will our liability exceed the purchase price of the plant.
If you need
any help with our children, we will be glad to answer questions.
A culture sheet
will accompany each order Iris, Hosta, Hemerocallis,and Peonies. All plants are nursery propagated.
- We hope to have adequate stock to cover orders,
but we do sell out
of varieties as our garden
space has limits unfortunately. We will
substitute with
a variety, as near to your order as possible, of equal or
greater
value if sold
out of any kind on your order. We will be happy to refund if you
do not want
substitutes.
We also include a "Thank you" of bonus plants on
orders of bearded
iris and dayliles over $50.00 if you include
a long list of
substitutions from
which we can select.
Collections are net as they are ready represent a significant savings and do not apply to any further bonus.

SHIPPING: Shipments are via Priority Mail and usually arrive in two to three days.
Large orders may
be sent via UPS (at our
option).
We will contact you if your order will come via UPS. Very large orders may incurr additional
shipping costs to cover the actual shipping charges.
Plants become the property of the purchaser upon
delivery to the carrier.
We cannot be responsible for delays, damage or loss in transit.
Any claims should be filed
immediately with the carrier.
NOTE: Bearded iris are not shipped
with beardless iris, they
require two different shipments.
Please be sure to include a
separate shipping and handling
fee for each shipment to you.
Check shipping dates as listed above. We
send plants at their proper
time for planting
for their success.
We realize that this is not
always when you would like
the plants.
We do, however, want them to grow successfully for you
thus we send when
they want to move.

EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI:
Bearded Iris: $10.00 plus 25 cents per plant.
All other perennial plants: $10.00 plus 50 cents per plant.
WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI:
Bearded Iris: $12.00 plus 25 cents per plant.
All other perennial plants: $12.00 plus 50 cents per plant.
